CORONA vaccinations

Since the doctors in private practice have been able to take part in the vaccination campaign against the corona virus, we have of course also been involved!

In the last few weeks, we have given preference to vaccinating the parents of our seriously ill children according to the current priority groups, who cannot yet be vaccinated themselves, especially for reasons of age. According to the order of priority group 3 or the complete elimination of the prioritization groups, we will only vaccinate our teenagers, first the big ones from the age of 16, and then, after approval, the younger ones from the age of 12.

We explicitly see ourselves as your children's general practitioners and always want to take care of them first. For adults, there are enough contact points with their own general practitioners and vaccination centers to get a vaccination.

We would like to ask you and yourselves to inquire about a possible vaccination date, if possible, by email to impfen@kinderaerztinnen-dortmund.de. Our employees do their absolute best on the phone, but the phone line should be open especially for parents with acutely ill children and with the flood of calls to be expected, it is simply no longer possible to do justice to all callers.

Extended mask requirement

Since January 25, 2021, there has been an extended mask requirement. This stipulates that medical masks or FFP2 masks must generally be worn in doctor's surgeries.

With the falling CORONA incidence values and the associated easing in mid-2021, the mask requirement will also be reduced, but will remain in place in doctor's offices!

What takes a long time will finally be good - our move is done!

After a lot of planning and with great anticipation, we can finally announce our moving date: in the week starting March 22, 2021, we will load our practice inventory into the moving truck and bring everything to our new premises in the Küsterpassage. We closed the week of March 22nd to 26th so that we can unpack the moving boxes and settle in. From March 29th we will be there for you and you again with full vigor - but then on the second floor in Harkortstr. 64. We are really excited and look forward to your visit!

Great events cast their shadows ahead!

As soon as we entered the practice for the very first time, it quickly became clear to us: the premises, which worked fine for Mr. Mangold alone, are simply too small for two doctors.

Rapid antigen tests ahead of the Christmas holidays

In order to be able to celebrate a Christmas that is as low-risk and relaxed as possible, especially when members of the risk group are guests, we would like to offer our patients - and only them - the possibility of a rapid antigen test for the novel corona virus during the three days before the holidays. The rapid test offers a somewhat lower degree of certainty than the PCR that is otherwise carried out. The big advantage, however, is that the result is available within 30 minutes. At the current time, the performance of a quick test is not yet covered by the statutory health insurance companies, so that we can only offer this as a self-paying service. The price for a quick test is €75. If you would like a rapid test to be carried out for yourself or your family before the holidays, please contact us by phone or email by December 16th to make an appointment. in practice.
