COVID-19 (Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2)

If you suspect COVID-19, you must not enter the practice without an appointment!

Please call us beforehand to discuss the procedure with us!

Contact

In principle, the following applies to all practice visits:

In order to keep the number of contact persons as low as possible for all of us, our patients are only allowed to come to the practice with one healthy companion.

Only appear healthy at planned appointments (preventive appointments, vaccinations). Otherwise, we ask that you call the practice team so that we can reschedule the appointment if necessary.

Likewise, you cannot bring sick siblings with you to scheduled appointments. In this case, too, we ask that you consult the practice team.

Wearing a mouth and nose cover (medical face mask or FFP2 mask without a valve) during your stay in our practice is obligatory in accordance with the general requirements!

We ask you to pay attention to the safety distance to reduce the risk of infection: please keep a distance of 1.5 meters from other people, including our staff!

For reasons of hygiene, the consumption of food and drinks you have brought with you is not permitted in our rooms (with the exception of infants).

When entering and leaving the practice, we ask you to disinfect your hands.

Thank you for your help!

CORONA-Tests

Due to the sharp increase in COVID-19 infections, we increasingly have to devote ourselves to our acutely ill patients and unfortunately can only be available to a limited extent for the tasks of the public health system.

For the time being, we will therefore only carry out swabs for COVID-19 in the following situations:

according to our medical assessment in the case of specific symptoms and known contact-positive self-test

For all other tests, please contact the Corona test centers.

This includes:

free testing from contact quarantine free testing from isolation contact case without symptoms positive pool test in school or kindergarten red Corona warning app

Please forgive us that we cannot provide quarantine advice by phone, this is the task of the health department and such calls are increasingly blocking the telephone line for our acutely ill children.

You can find all of the legal provisions relating to quarantine and testing on the state’s website at https://www.mags.nrw/coronavirus-quarantaene

Mask requirement

Since January 25, 2021, there has been an extended mask requirement. This stipulates that medical masks or FFP2 masks must generally be worn in doctor's surgeries.

Even with the easing in April 2022, the mask requirement in medical practices will remain in place!

CORONA vaccinations

Since the doctors in private practice have been able to take part in the vaccination campaign against the corona virus, we have of course also been involved!

In the first few weeks, we gave priority to vaccinating the parents of our seriously ill children according to the applicable priority groups, who cannot yet be vaccinated themselves, particularly for reasons of age. According to the order of priority group 3 or the complete elimination of the prioritization groups, we only vaccinate our patients, first the older ones from the age of 16, in the course of the approval then also the younger ones from the age of 12 and now the youngest ones from the age of 5.

We explicitly see ourselves as your children's general practitioners and always want to take care of them first. For adults, there are enough contact points with their own general practitioners and vaccination centers to get a vaccination.

We would like to ask you and yourselves to inquire about a possible vaccination date, if possible, by email to impfen@kinderaerztinnen-dortmund.de. Our employees do their absolute best on the phone, but the phone line should be open especially for parents with acutely ill children and with the flood of calls to be expected, it is simply no longer possible to do justice to all callers.

See you soon in practice!
